Blending art with architecture
University design plays a pivotal role in shaping the educational experience and the institution’s identity. By integrating artwork into the architectural fabric, universities can create a distinctive atmosphere that reflects their values and contextual significance. The Institute of Eminence in New Delhi is a seven-storeyed architectural building that embodies the spirit of academic excellence through its distinctive mural design. The facade features a captivating mix of symbols of excellence, blending art with architecture to create a visual narrative that reflects the institute’s commitment to knowledge, innovation, and leadership.
The Institute is thoughtfully designed to accommodate a variety of academic and functional spaces across its seven floors. The layout includes seminar rooms, labs, classrooms, multipurpose rooms, faculty offices, and two basement levels providing ample parking. The institute is divided into two blocks, connected by bridges that facilitate easy movement between areas. A ‘Swachh Bharat’ toilet is prominently situated on campus, while clear and well-placed signage guides visitors across the grounds.
