Dhaka Campus Hostel, designed for Delhi University, reimages student living as an environment that supports academic growth, personal well-being, and community life. Located within the larger dhaka complex, the hostel srves as a vital residential node catering to students from diverse backgrounds-offering them a safe, inclusive and vibrant space to call home.

The design prioritises functionality, safety, and social interaction. Modular room configurations accommodate a mix of single, double, and shared occupancy, all planned with adequate daylight, ventilation and ergonomic use of space. Common lounges, study zones, and ining facilities are strategically integrated to create a sense of openness and encourage dialogue, collaboration and peer learning.

Passive design strategies, including shaded corridors, cross ventilation, and courtyard planning, enhance climate responsiveness-reducing energy loads while improving comfort. Material choices reflect durability, low maintenance, and contextual appropriateness, ensuring long-term efficiency and aesthetic appeal.
