The Light House Projects (LHP) initiated by the Indian government are transformative model housing initiatives that exemplify innovative and sustainable building technologies. These projects aim to deliver high-quality, ready-to-live homes rapidly and economically while adhering to eco-friendly practices. They serve as live laboratories, facilitating the transfer of advanced technologies from planning and design to construction and testing. This initiative aligns with the Prime Minister’s visionary approach, emphasising technological advancements’ role in providing low-cost housing that meets stringent environmental, societal, quality, and economic standards. The designs comply with earthquake zone-III standards, ensuring structural stability through rigorous analysis and design iterations. A detailed three-dimensional structural analysis is conducted to optimise section sizes for structural elements.

LHP Lucknow utilises PVC stay-in-place (SIP) formwork system technology with pre-engineered steel structural section frames. This project includes 1040 dwelling units along with basic and social infrastructure facilities. It comprises four towers of Stilt+13 floors, a community center, and a commercial block, covering a built-up area of approximately 6 lakh square feet.
